MAPS outlines Moody's sustainability roadmap, setting goals, targets, and actions across departments to address key issues impacting our business and stakeholders.
In 2022, Moody's undertook its second materiality assessment, identifying sustainability issues that are pertinent to our business and stakeholders. Throughout 2023, our Corporate Sustainability Group worked in tandem with various Moody's departments and business lines to establish goals, targets, and action plans related to each issue. This collaborative effort has led to the launch of Moody's Action Plan for Sustainability (MAPS).
MAPS sets the course and destination for our sustainability initiatives. More than that, it forms a crucial part of our sustainability governance at Moody's. Each goal is assigned to specific functions, ensuring accountability. Progress is reported biannually to the Executive Leadership Team and annually to the Board’s Governance & Nominating Committee. We are committed to transparency and will monitor our performance against each goal, disclosing our progress on an annual basis.
